The Paleo3, REservoir, DIagenesis Characterization and Technology (PREDICT) lab is a research group in the Department of Geosciences, College of Petroleum Engineering and Geosciences (CPG) at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. Our lab brings together carbonate sedimentology and diagenesis, remote sensing and spectral characterization, and artificial intelligence and machine learning to understand how carbonate systems form, evolve, and behave as reservoirs. From field-based and geochemical studies of carbonates to hyperspectral imaging and AI-driven interpretation of geoscience data, we integrate observation, quantification, and prediction across scales.
